"Evil Easter"

Breast Cancer Artworks

This project will be created over the next 2 years, using molds created by 100 women. This prototype in the photographs has been changed to partial torso of women, many of whom have had tumors in their breasts removed. These 100 sculptures, once created, will be auctioned with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Funding for this project is still in process.

'Tides of Time' for Chocolate Fantasy Competition

New Mexico

With the Atlantis theme in mind, this abstracted chocolate staircase is covered with treasures and sealife. Waves overtake the staircase, starting the crumble of Atlantis. The chocolate is flavored 'ameretto, red chile jalapeño'- very site specific to the tastes of New Mexico. This sculpture feeds 500 people.

Edible Lawn

6'x6' edible lawn with pink flamingos

Post-modern landscape artwork. 'Lawn takes the comfort of the grassed yard and updates the media to dirt and grass jelly bellys, which are named and event taste of dirt and grass. This comforting retro-landscape takes on a twist when the lawn is made of an edible medium, and not able to be walked on. Those this grassed piece brings comfort on some levels; the discomfort of the new media of 'Lawn' soon stirs in the audience. The artwork encourages people to define Lawn and question their relationship with it, in all of their senses.
